About

Serena Castillo is a graphic designer and mixed media artist whose work spans branding, editorial, print, digital, and environmental design. With an established creative career rooted in visual storytelling and thoughtful communication, she creates work that brings clarity, atmosphere, and human connection to complex ideas.

She has collaborated with clients across education, healthcare, engineering, arts, culture, and nonprofit sectors, developing publications, campaigns, exhibitions, signage systems, websites, presentations, and digital content designed to engage diverse audiences in meaningful and accessible ways. Her approach combines strong typography, refined visual systems, and a deep attention to detail with a belief that design should feel both intelligent and approachable.

Alongside her professional design practice, Serena maintains an active mixed media art practice shaped by observation, photography, material exploration, and collected imagery. Museums, archives, city walks, layered surfaces, coastal landscapes, and everyday visual fragments all inform her creative process.

Originally from Texas, Serena later built her career in Arizona before relocating to England. Her work continues to explore the relationship between storytelling, place, memory, and visual communication through both client collaborations and personal studio projects.
